The criminal court docket in Judge Micheal Menahan’s courtroom on Friday, February 7, is as follows:
Bradley Wright had an Initial Appearance and Arraignment; pleading Not Guilty to charges of criminal possession of both methamphetamine and benzodiazepine. Omnibus is due on April 4; Pre-Trial is set for August 1; with the Jury Trial scheduled for September 2, 2025.
Curtis Smith had an Initial Appearance on charges of 1) burglary (felony) 2) misdemeanor assault 3) criminal mischief. He will be Arraigned on February 14. He is released on his own recognizance. His conditions include that he have no contact with victims or witnesses and that he consume no alcohol or drugs. He must submit to random alcohol testing.
Jack White had an Initial Appearance to three counts of assault with a weapon, three counts of criminal endangerment, two counts of criminal mischief and obstruction. He has a $75,000 bond. If bonded out, he is to not possess firearms, no alcohol or drugs; he must stay 2000 feet from victim’s home. He will be arraigned February 14.
Richard Karp was Sentenced on two cases. The first is a Petition to Revoke on DUI 5+ The total Sentence is that he spend three years Montana State Prison; he pay a total of $10,000; with credit time served to be determined. He is to be screened for Pre-Release. He must pay $50 for Pre-Sentencing Services, fines and surcharges of $80.
