COUNTY SOLID WASTE OPERATION CHANGES ON AUGUST 1ST

Beginning on August 1st, customers should expect two changes to their solid waste services. These operational changes affect customer access to the County’s solid waste transfer stations.

The Solid Waste Department is changing operation hours for the six transfer stations throughout the County.

Indian Creek • Monday- Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Toston • Friday & Sunday 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Radersburg • Thursday & Saturday 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Winston • Tuesday & Thursday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Dry Gulch • Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Cedar Street • Tuesday - Friday 6:00 am-6:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Also, on August 1st, all walk-in cans at all locations will be closed. Customers are encouraged to deposit waste during the new operating hours at any of the six solid waste transfer stations located throughout the County Solid Waste District.

The operational changes reflect the recommendations of the Broadwater County Solid Waste Advisory Board involved in the ongoing effort to provide the least cost and sustainable solid waste services for our citizens.
