Judge Mike Menahan presided over the following cases. County Attorney Kevin Bratcher brought the charges. The defense attorney and appointed Public Defender, Qasim Abdul-Baki, acted as attorney for the cases.
Samuel Nathaniel Cooper- Evidentiary Hearing was scheduled to be held today on the Petition to Revoke. Mr. Cooper is detained at the Lewis and Clark Detention Facility on other charges, and the Evidentiary Hearing has been rescheduled for October 2, 2026.
Harley Wildman- Initial Appearance on a Petition to Revoke was held on July 16th, 2026, on the violation/charges of Count 1- PFMA, Count 2, Drinking Alcohol, Count 3, Using Meth, and Count 4, Change of Residence without Permission. The Defendant entered Denials and the Evidentiary Hearing is scheduled for October 16, 2026. The Bond hearing is scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2026.
Jacob Houtari- Admit/Deny Hearing on Petition to Revoke on the violations of 1- Failure to report, 2 – Failure to remain employed, 3- Probation and Parole went to registered residence and discovered that defendant no longer lived there. Defendant admitted to all allegations. Defendant was sentenced to 5 years Department of Corrections, all suspended with credit for street time and time served. Defendant must follow all conditions previously in place and pay remaining restitution in the amount of $16,695.99.
Douglas James Knight- Evidentiary Hearing was scheduled to be held, but the defendant failed to show for hearing or contact his Attorney. The Court ordered an Arrest Warrant issued with a $25,000 Bond.
Richard Dee Anderson- Status Hearing was scheduled, and the Defendant failed to show for hearing. The Court ordered an Arrest Warrant issued with a $25,000 Bond.
