Kammy Dawn Law, born on May 7, 1975, in Boise, Idaho, to Ken and Kris Law, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Kammy’s passing follows her courageous fight with cancer.

Kammy was cheerful and spirited as a child. She adored her childhood with her parents and brothers, living in many places, including Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.

She had a love for sports, winning many track events at a young age, as well as a passion for nature, archaeology, history, and exploration. On many family outings, she would be out fishing before anyone woke up and would return home as the sun was setting. Fishing brought her immense joy.

She began her adult life in Wendover, Utah, where she got married, and they had five children together. Following their divorce, she found community and comfort in St. George, Utah, where she could often be seen walking along the rivers, picking up special rocks, and later moving to Kamiah, Idaho, where she was a jewel to the community and could be seen taking daily walks up and down the town's hill every morning. She completed EMT training and also took flying lessons before moving to Wyoming and then on to Montana. She loved her work at Billings Clinic Broadwater and proved that you can thrive wherever you are planted.

Kammy is survived by the love of her life, Travis Rauh; her parents, Ken and Kris Law; her brothers, Justin (Lindsey) Law and Nate Law; her nieces and nephews, Charlee, Ammon, Talon, and Gavin; her children, Tyece (Tate) Pool, Gehrig (Ashtyn) Sweat, Jade (Brady) Saltzman, and Dawson Sweat; and she is now reunited with her heavenly son, Braxton Orion Sweat. She thrived as a grandmother to her granddaughters, Bristol and Bryar.

Kammy’s battle with cancer was hard-fought until the very end, and she remained her positive, strong, and stubborn self throughout life’s many challenges. She taught us all so much about kindness, patience, resilience, and the ability to start anew.

Wherever Kammy went, she would talk to everyone around her. Most strangers, as well as those who knew her best, felt she was a light of joy and happiness. She had a natural talent for making everyone around her feel important and special. From strangers on an airplane to fellow cheering Moms at her children’s events, Kam soon made friends with everyone. Her love was unconditional, and her smile was a bright light that so many people drew toward.

She lived for her Children. She loved them and was proud of them so much. Where they went, she went, as they were her world. From sporting events to concerts to their famous family Halloween group costumes, her love for them was unconditional. Since she left us, the stars look a little brighter.

We love you most and best.
