Last year, thanks to generous grants from the Broadwater Trust Board and Broadwater Rotary, we were able to make much-needed improvements to our sound system. Our goal was simple—to make sure every fan could hear the announcer and enjoy a better rodeo experience, something that had been missing in recent years.
Over the past year, the Townsend Rodeo Board has been hard at work planning for improvements for the 2026 Townsend Rodeo. We've reached out to businesses, ranches, organizations, and individuals throughout our community, and once again, your generosity has been incredible.
Because of our amazing sponsors and donors, we're thrilled to announce two exciting new additions for 2026:
A Jumbotron Video Screen & A Professional Sound Coordinator
That's right! When you purchase your tickets at townsendfairgrounds.com, you won't just be watching a rodeo—you'll be experiencing a RODEO PRODUCTION!
From big-screen viewing and sponsor recognition to enhanced entertainment and crystal-clear sound, these improvements are all about creating an unforgettable experience for our spectators while showcasing the incredible community that makes our rodeo possible.
None of this would happen without the unwavering support of our sponsors. On behalf of the Broadwater Rodeo & Fair Association, thank you for believing in our vision and investing in the future of the Townsend Rodeo. Your generosity is truly transformative, helping us turn ambitious ideas into reality and ensuring our rodeo continues to grow for generations to come.
We can't wait to share this exciting new experience with all of you this August 6-9. Get your tickets now at townsendfairgrounds.com and get ready for the biggest, best Townsend Rodeo yet!
