Canton Church

On July 10, a large audience gathered to hear Scout Lynde and Laura Frazer perform at the Canton Church as “Elenore Lenore”.

Scout and Laura are both Townsend natives and well-known in the community. This is the second time Scout has performed at the Canton Church, and the first time for Laura.

Scout Lynde believes music is for everyone; it requires nothing from an audience to be enjoyed. As a singer/songwriter, Scout enjoys telling stories about the human experience through her art.

She writes and composes music using guitar and ukulele to create songs with an alternative folk sound. The content of Scout’s lyrics highlights the strange and beautiful experience of “being human” and largely focuses on connection, resilience, and the relationships she treasures. She wants to speak the transcendent language of music for as long as she lives, and desires to inspire others to pursue their artistic passions.

Laura Frazer added her voice to provide the “Elenore Lenore” duet a beautiful sound.
