Canton Church Presents: Scout Lynde and Laura Frazer as "Eleanor Lenore"

The 2026 Canton Church Summer Events will continue on July 10, 2026. The Historic Church will host Scout Lynde and Laura Frazer performing as "Eleanor Lenore".

Scout Lynde, an artist from Townsend, Montana, believes music is for everyone; it requires nothing from an audience to be enjoyed. As a singer/songwriter, Scout enjoys telling stories about the human experience through her art.

She writes and composes music using guitar and ukulele to create songs with an alternative folk sound. The content of Scout’s lyrics highlights the strange and beautiful experience of “being human” and largely focuses on connection, resilience, and the relationships she treasures. She wants to speak the transcendent language of music for as long as she lives, and desires to inspire others to pursue their artistic passions.

The Canton Church events are always FREE, but donations are welcome!

The Historic Canton Church was built in 1875-1876 and is one of the few surviving buildings from the town of Canton, which was flooded during the creation of Canyon Ferry Lake. All of our events begin at 5:00 pm, but the Canton Church will be open to visitors from 3:00-5:00 pm before events.
