After learning that one of the candidates for County Treasurer had withdrawn from the race, I knew that this was my opportunity to try something exciting and new. That being said, my name is Symantha J Deans, and I am announcing my campaign for Broadwater County Treasurer!
I currently serve as County Treasurer Assistant, and I bring a strong financial background, excellent customer service, and years of management experience to this office. My work has centered on accurate bookkeeping, responsible budgeting, and delivering clear, timely information to the public. I pride myself on providing excellent customer service and leading teams to meet high professional standards - qualities that are essential to any government department.
If elected, I will run the Treasurer’s office with the utmost excellence and transparency. I believe our community deserves a Treasurer who understands accounting, one who can safeguard public funds, streamline financial processes, and make information accessible and understandable to every resident. I am that person.
