On June 1, 2026, the world dimmed just a little as William Ford Hallenberg, “Big Red” left it – suddenly, quietly and far too soon.

At age 35, Willie had already filled a lifetime with light. He moved through the world with a smile, a heart that never stopped giving, and a spirit that lifted others without ever asking for anything in return.

To know Willie was to feel joy; to be loved by him was to feel seen. Willie carried a rare gift – the ability to make people feel valued simply by being himself. His laughter lingered, his kindness echoed, and his presence made ordinary days feel softer, brighter, and easier to bear.

He leaves behind his mother Julie Navarro (Rick), father Brian Hallenberg, sister Brandi Truesdell (Daniel), brother Tim Wilburn, the nieces and nephews that he adored, MaKenzie, Madelyne, and Parker Truesdell, and Adrian and Brinley Wilburn, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an incredible number of friends in the Townsend Community. They will carry his light forward each in their own way.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date – a gathering of stories, memories, laughter and tears woven together in honor of a man who loved boldly and lived with an open heart.
