BCHS Tech Ed Students Help Install New Sidewalk at the Lodge

On Friday, May 29th, Clint Watson’s Tech Education Class students helped install the new sidewalk in front of the Lodge on South Spruce Street.

Tina Homann, owner of the Lodge, has wanted to replace the old historic sidewalk, which was poured in 1918. Tina loves the idea of having the Tech Ed students help with projects like this in the community.

Clint’s class was busy with other projects, so Martin Mingay, who worked for White Construction back in the day, took the lead in helping to get the project ready for the students.

A little interesting history, while Martin was working for White Construction, Clint Watson was hired to work for them and learned how to work with concrete under Martin’s leadership.
