You’ve seen the sign “Free Beer – Tomorrow”. That was not the case Friday night at the Betsy when Bridger Brewery of Three Forks area offered a beer tasting of their wide-ranging ales and IPA beers.
Matt Lacko, sales manager for Bridger Brewery, called it a Tap Takeover so customers could try their various beers. He, along with Betsy owner, Chase Ragen, gave out tickets to win music concert tickets for the musical groups Bridger Brewer will be hosting through the summer. Ticket winners were Jody Toney and Ray Russell, both of Townsend.
Lacko emphasized they were in town to heighten awareness of Bridger’s restaurant, musical venue and excellent beers. “Our brewery is in Broadwater County. We want to be a part of this community. We want people to drive 30 miles for a dinner and evening out. Our concert series this summer will include Lone Star, a 90’s country band, Gin Blossoms and the Spin Doctors.”
Bridger Brewery will host its fourth annual Headwaters Lager Festival with sixteen breweries participating May 30 this year. Some of the Breweries who have signed up to participate are Black Foot Brewery, Lewis and Clark and Copper Furrow of Helena and Burnt Tree Brewery of Ennis. Participants will enjoy live music and the offerings from food trucks during the event.
Bridger collaborates with Southwest Montana Mountain Biking Association to highlight outdoor recreation opportunities in this area. A portion of the proceeds from the event go to maintain and expand trails. The event includes free camping sites and a shuttle bus from Bozeman. For more information, please visit Bridgerbrewing.com.
