Tennis Team Wins in Great Falls Tournament

Article Published: 05/01/2026 Volume: 4 Edition: 43On Friday and Saturday, April 24th and 25th, the Bulldogs tennis team travelled to Great Falls to compete in a tournament- style meet. There were teams from Red Lodge, Wolf Point, Fort Benton, Chinook, Jefferson, Three Forks, Loyola, and Fairfield. There were brackets for each division, singles 1, 2, 3, and 4 and doubles 1 and 2.
Bella McDaniel competed in the singles 1 division, and placed 2nd in the end. She won three matches and only lost one. She won her match against Fort Benton7-6 and 8-6 in the tie breaker. She won her next match against Chinook 6-4. She won another match against Townsend"s Nayal Mendoza 6-2. She lost her last match against Jefferson 3-6.
Jacey Brunette play in the singles 2 bracket. She won all four of the matches that she played. She won her match against Wolf Point 6-1, and her match against Chinook 6-1 as well. She won her next match against Fort Benton 6-2, and her final match against Jefferson 6-4. She placed first in the singles 2 bracket.
Violet Collins won two matches in singles three. She beat her Jefferson opponent 6-3, and her Fairfield opponent 6-1.
Hailey Hildreth played in the singles 4 bracket and won all four of the matches that she played. She placed first in the singles 4 bracket. She beat her Wolf Point opponent 6-0, and her Red Lodge opponent 6-3. She won her match against Wolf Point again, 6-1. For her final game, she beat Chinook 6-3.
Harper Wolfgram and Chloe Flynn played in the doubles 1 bracket ending up placing 2nd. They won their match against Simms 6-4, and their match against Chinook 6-3. Next, they played Forsyth and won that match 6-4. After that, they lost their match against Loyola 3-6.
In the doubles 2 bracket, Kylee Warburton and Addy White played together. They placed first in this bracket, only losing one match. First they won their match against Loyola 6-2, then won against Chinook 6-2. They won their match against Jefferson 6-4 but lost a match against Forsyth 4-6.
The Bulldogs team finished this tournament with an overall record of 19 wins and only 3 losses. They travel to Billings on May 1st and 2nd to play in the Billings Invitational.
