Coach's Thoughts:
We were ready for the Ennis Mustangs, and I guess you could say we corralled them on the corners and sidelines. We bothered them so much that they only made 14 baskets and 7 free throws. Our guys were really inspired by their comrades on the bench and they seemed really energetic! Tannen got his first dunk in a game, and he did it in the 4th quarter; the bench just erupted! These guys really support each other. Colby Flynn came off the bench to pitch in ten points and grab 6 boards. Tannen had quite a game with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and one dunk. It was a team effort, especially when you realize that they really creamed us at their place.

Coach's Thoughts:
I think our guys wanted to redeem themselves after getting beat by the Jefferson Panthers by 40 points earlier this year. We trapped the Panthers very aggressively, we crashed the boards, and we executed on offense. I think we kind of surprised the Panthers with a 21-point first quarter. Tavyn Anderson moved the ball really well, resulting in his six assists and 26 points. Tavyn also led on the defensive campaign with 7 steals and 5 deflections. When you meet the offense with Rylan Hoveland and Tavyn up top, the opposing point guards have a little trouble. I was really proud of the guys in many ways! Our last home game will be Friday, February 20th, with the C-teams starting at 3 pm.
