Why would any sane person want A.I. Anything?

WHY Would Any Sane Person Want A.I. ANYTHING?
First off, do the words: Artificial Intelligence not even sound stupid? So, you don’t want to think for yourself, and you want something to do your work for you! Doesn’t that sound a bit like having Mommy live your life for you? “Oh, I don’t know what to write or can’t figure out how to add or subtract numbers. Let alone how to figure out a Flaming plain old analog clock” (you know the ones with actual hands).
I would ask “What are you Stupid?” but I don’t want to hear the answer. Ok Example: Waaaay back in the 1950s, there was a movie called “Colossus the Forbin Project”. The story was about a scientist who created a supercomputer; yeah, one that took up an entire room! (Like I said, old film) The computer learned and began to reason. It became sentient; alive; it began to reason like a human brain. Yeah…Uh OH! And of course, some ignorant person asked it, “What can we do to make Earth better?” Then the computer came back with “get rid of all the carbon-based lifeforms!” For those of you actually understanding, that’s us! Humankind.
You see, cold logic, computers might learn and begin to reason. However, they will never have human thoughts and compassion. So cold logic, say "hey, the planet would be great without humans." Despite how you might think, without us, there is nobody left to appreciate Earth!
In the movie, the computer links up with all the other nuclear computer control computers and is going to destroy all life. (Yes, Poindexter, even the animals.)
A.I. is artificial. How many times do you get in trouble because of spell check on your phones? Yep, A.I. is only playing……for now!
We humans do make mistakes, but we learn. (Except when certain Government types want to keep us in the dark ages.) Not going there! Think for yourself, take responsibility for your own actions! Make your own mistakes and learn from them. Be human, don’t just lie down and give in to the Matrix. Machines won’t ever be your friend! They just exist until a human tells them what to do. And you do NOT want them thinking for themselves.
Animals have instincts, humans have reasoning and intuition. Machines have bupkus! Nothing but cold, hard logic that we put into them. Machines do not think about us. I do know that some vehicles have personalities (a story for another time). If you give in to the whole A.I. so-called revolution, don’t be surprised when the world is in flames. Then you might be, oh gee golly gosh darn, inconvenienced by your cell phone and gaming computer shutting off. For good!
