On January 10th, the Bulldogs' Speech and Drama team travelled to Shelby to compete with their pieces. There was lots of competition at this competition with teams such as North Star and Huntley Project. Shalyn Sentinella placed first in Original Oratory, but hers was the only speech piece that the Bulldogs performed.
The Drama team placed first overall, and many pieces contributed to the win. Hannah Hall placed second with her Dramatic Solo piece. Kyla Meissner’s Humorous Solo placed 3rd. The Classical Theater piece performed by Anabell Kline, Zoey Osborne, and Lucas Feller placed third. Angel Sentinella, Sarah Morgan, and Simon Sanchez performed a Humorous theater piece and placed fourth. Noah Borror, Ava Boaz, and Lyrique Bryant also performed a Humorous theater piece, and they placed second. To finish the drama pieces, Aubrey Wells and Chloe Johnson performed their Dramatic Theater piece and placed third.
Next, on January 17th, the Speech and Drama team will travel to Three Forks to compete their pieces against some of the top teams in the state.
