The words Nazi and Fascist get bandied around a bit much lately, far too much! Let’s get into that, shall we?
The German leaders in WWII put together a group called the National Socialist Party, a German Fascist party. Their leader, Adolf Hitler, became their supreme leader after a few false starts.
Hitler decided the German people should all be white, blond-haired, blue-eyed, giants. With me so far? Hitler said he wanted the entire race to become like the ancient Aryan race that was superior and very militaristic - nation builders. The problem was that the actual Aryan race was from the Asian continent around Iran and other areas. So, the actual people that Adolf wanted the German people to be like were mostly brown/black, swarthy folks.
Hitler himself was a dark-haired Austrian with serious problems, including syphilis and a bad drug habit. So why did people follow him? He could speak well, and he gave the German people a common enemy to rally against. Not only the Jewish people but anyone who was different or inferior, according to him.
Fascism, on the other hand, was mostly from Italy. Benito Mussolini was a swarthy, darker-skinned guy. He ruled with an iron fist for a nationalistic and racialized central autocratic regime, often a militaristic government. That’s a mouthful. So, these crazy kids decided to get together and take over the world. They also added in the Imperial Japanese military …. WHAT? So, racial purity, with Italians and Japanese? Oh yeah, that would work! What I’m getting to is this: calling people in our American peoples and government, "Nazi" and "Fascist" is beyond idiocy! Knock it off.
Now on to Science: I have tried to explain to environmentalist folks that "carbon footprint" is monumental, is pure crap! Kind of like what any rancher around here can tell you comes from cows. And they are not causing any global warming or climate change. Around here, the climate changes by the hour. Human beings are a (write this down) a carbon-based life form. Our whole existence is based on carbon. It’s who we are! By the same token, carbon dioxide is plant food. We breathe CO2 out; plants take it in and grow! Carbon monoxide is from mostly vehicle exhaust - bad!
You can sit in your car in your locked garage and snort in CO2 from a plant for days. You may just get bored and fall asleep. There is a thing called “photosynthesis”. It means sunshine warms plants and they turn green and give off “life-giving” oxygen! Plants take in CO2 that we breathe out; they give off oxygen that we breathe in. Got it? Good. I’d say there will be a test, but life is a test. Don’t fail it!
