Although the number of cars entered in the 2025 Townsend Fall Fest Car Show was not as great as in previous years due to inclement weather, it was still a very enjoyable and successful event. Last year there were 326 cars and trucks entered; this year only 119 showed up. It is always interesting to see the ages and varieties of them. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in the great paint jobs and almost-new conditions of their vehicles.

This year Rotary Club member Steve Roy organized the car show, and he passed out the trophies to the winners of eleven different categories. This is the list of the winners and the classes of the cars and trucks.

John Proul won Street Rods Modified with his 1934 Ford Coupe.

John Davis was the winner of the Best Imports class with his 2010 LOTUS EBORA made in England.

Jeremy Rauser has a beautifully restored 1929 Chevrolet Imperial Sedan that won the Best 20s and 30s class.

Jack and Michele Klama have a mighty fine looking 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Coupe, winning the Best Original class. Jack wrote on the entry form My cruisin' memory line, “Took my driver’s test in this beauty and passed. It’s my first prom car. I’m the original owner with Dad. Today I am 16 years old, not 79!"

Gina and Frank Fleming won Best 40s class with their 1946 Chevy Stilemaster.

Gordon Gallehom has a 1956 Chevy Nomad, winning the Best 50s class.

Nickie Stephens won the 60s Class with her 1970 GMC Pickup.

Dave Strong took home the trophy for the Best 70s and Above with his 2017 Chevy Silverado.

Luke Labuda won the Trucks – All Years class with his 1960 Chevy Apache 10 pickup.

Lamy Mason won the Best Muscle Car category with his 1964 Mercury Comet.

John and Char Appel were the Best of Show winners. They have a 1937 Yellow Coach Motor Home, with a 1937 Fruehauf trailer.

Congratulations of all of you winners, and it was so enjoyable to see all the cars and trucks at the car show.
