I’m Not Going To Say, “money Is The Root Of All Evil.”

I’m Not Going to Say, “Money is the Root of All Evil.”

However, it does seem to cause people to lose their collective minds! Everyone (including me) says, “I’d love to have that problem of too much money”.) But would we really? Most folks feel we would be able to handle it without much aggravation, maybe, but all the different “problems” that would show up at our door might make us rethink that.

Like…50 so-called “Relatives” that we have never known about knocking on our front door in the middle of the night. “Hey, I’m your long-lost Uncle Sedley, just dropping by to say hello”. YEAH RIGHT! At 3:00 AM? I don’t think so, Bonzo. Carry your butt away.

Lately, hmmm, maybe always there have been sports stars, or new celebrities who are NEWLY RICH, just have to get the whole feel good about myself experience. As they drive drunkenly off the road into a restaurant, that is NOT what they mean by “drive through,” Lame Brain. IF I were a big-time entertainer (who’s to say I’m not?), I think the first thing I would do would be to HIRE at least a couple of drivers! I want to go out and party? These folks would be on standby.

I don’t think money is necessarily a bad thing, it just seems to make people idiots. Recently, a new draft pick for a football team got caught drinking and driving on a city street. Going to show off his new wealth, “What’s that police car doing in my rearview mirror? Uh Oh.”

Now, I know these days common sense is in very short supply, but if I have bundles of cash at my disposal, I don’t think I’d go off the rails. So, to speak, be extremely happy? YES! I don’t think it would make me dumber. (Don’t go there!) You know there are many people who would become or do evil, I’m not talking politicians here.

The thing is, some folks think that money gives them POWER! They don’t understand that it ONLY gives them power over those who just want THEIR MONEY. I read a lot, there have been so many cases where people who win a lotto or get an inheritance think they are lords of the town. They try to show their newly gained power to famous people or locals who they think they have power over.

These folks are IDIOTS; it’s like the old signs that said: Alcohol doesn’t make you stronger or better looking. It doesn’t make you cooler or richer. It just makes you drunk. The same with money. I would pay my house off first, then maybe, but a new truck…. Nah, I like driving my side-by-side around town too much. Giving people money or doing things to help them, even better!
