PTA's Bulldog T-Shirt Contest a Huge Success

One of the PTA’s goals has been to put an affordable Bulldog T-shirt in the hands of every elementary student—a mission that was successfully accomplished last year through a school-wide design contest. This week, the PTA is wrapping up this year’s contest, which once again showcased the creativity of local students.

For the 2025 contest, Pre-K through 1st-grade students participated in a coloring competition, while 2nd through 5th graders submitted original design creations. Three winners were chosen from each grade, and the overall winning design was printed on T-shirts for the entire school to wear.

The T-shirts were priced at just $5, and families were given the option to purchase additional shirts to help cover the cost for other students. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the elementary families, nearly the entire cost of the shirts was covered—an inspiring show of community support. The PTA made up the difference to ensure every student and teacher received a shirt.

The winners were announced and awarded at a school assembly on Thursday, April 3, at 9 a.m. The PTA extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to all the families who stepped up to make this initiative possible. Your support has helped spread school spirit and create lasting memories for the students!
