Broadwater Students Attend State Science Fair

Twenty-two middle school students attended the Montana Science Fair in Missoula, MT on March 31st.
The science fair was held at Adam's Center on the University of Montana campus. Students had a full day of presenting their projects to many judges along with students from all over the state.
Of the 22 participants from Townsend, 11 received bronze ribbons, 10 received silver ribbons, and one student, Abigail McCauley, received a gold ribbon.
Abigail was awarded the Peterson Grand Award for a 1st Place Biological Project for her experiment on soil compaction and how plant growth and root development for various crops are affected.
