Preserve Broadwater History
Preserve Montana (a historical preservation non-profit in Helena) is working with the local Preserve Broadwater History non-profit to determine the scope of work needed to restore the historic Johnson Schoolhouse to a usable state.
On March 29 there will be a free workshop on renovating historic buildings with the focus on the historic Johnson Schoolhouse. The workshop will be a full day workshop. Everyone is welcome to join us. Lunch will be provided.
If you would like to join us for the free workshop please contact Vic Sample at (406) 422-9425 or email me at victorsample@gmail.com. We need to get a count of interested people to schedule the workshop venue and amount of food to order.
The Johnson Schoolhouse is located on highway 284 near the Confederate Gulch turnoff. The Schoolhouse is owned by Diane and Michael Brown. They have graciously offered to donate the Schoolhouse to Preserve Broadwater History after it is renovated.
