The criminal docket in Judge Christopher Abbot’s courtroom on Friday, February 28 is as follows:

Michael Taylor appeared for a Change of Plea; pleading Guilty to an amended charge of reckless driving. In his elocution, he related that while driving in Broadwater County, he caused blatant disregard to others by speeding. He is sentenced to a $500 fine, with credit time served for two days (at $82.50/day). He must not possess drugs or alcohol, must attend Prime for Life, must complete a chemical dependency evaluation within 30 days, pay fees and surcharges, and pay $250 to the Office of Public Defenders

Michael Broadbrooks had a Change of Plea; pleading Guilty to partner/family member assault. In his elocution, he stated that during an argument he caused reasonable apprehension of injury to the victim; and to a charge of criminal mischief, he caused damage to property of $694.53. He must pay a fine of $100, attend batterers education, pay $10% administration fee, have no contact with the victim. He receives a two-year deferred Sentence, with one day credit time served.

Christopher Killmeyer had an Initial Appearance and Arraignment; pleading Not Guilty to a charge of DUI (5th). Omnibus is due by April 18; Pre-Trial is set for October 17, with the Jury Trial scheduled November 17.

Jack White had his Bond Modification continued until March 28.
