Townsend Man Dies in Head-on Collision at Silos Exit

Two white vehicles collided Friday, February 14 at the Silos turnoff and US Highway 287. One person died at the scene and one person was taken to the hospital. The weather was overcast and snowing.
According to an official release from Broadwater County Sheriff Nick Rauser: at approximately 9:37 a.m. Broadwater County Dispatch received a call about a head on collision on Highway 287 and Silos Road. Deputies, EMS, Fire and Montana Highway Patrol responded.
Larry Zeadow, an 82-year-old male, succumbed to his injuries. The other male was transported to the hospital in Helena and is in stable condition.
The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the traffic collision. The Broadwater County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death.
