Broadwater Future Farmers of America (FFA) Alumni & Supporters would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Annual Bake Sale, Dessert Auction and pork sandwich meals during the high school basketball games vs. Three Forks on January 30th!
This was our 9th annual event and we can barely believe how much it has grown in terms of donations and support. We THANK all of those who donated items to the bake sale and dessert auction - we couldn’t have done it without YOU! A big THANK YOU to all of the buyers, bidders and winners of the dessert auction! And again, THANK YOU to our community and the Three Forks community for purchasing baked goods and pork sandwich meals!
The FFA Alumni & Supporters raises funds for FFA Scholarships for eligible graduating seniors in the AgEd/FFA programs. The Alumni also utilize funds to assist students with travel expenses to FFA CDE and LDE contests as well as travel to State FFA Convention and National FFA Convention.
Broadwater FFA Alumni & Supporters is a nationally recognized organization, paying annual dues to National FFA Alumni & Supporters. Broadwater HS FFA & Agriculture Education was established in 2015, with the Alumni group establishing in 2016. The purpose of the Alumni & Supporters chapter is to help further agriculture career opportunities and ag literacy in our community. There are a few people who are true FFA Alumni, but most of us are parents of current and/or past FFA members as well as community members with agricultural ties.
Anyone in Broadwater County can join the FFA Alumni & Supporters chapter. We would love to have even more folks who are passionate about ag education and supporting the next generation of agriculturists. Reach out to any of the officers listed below if interested or want to learn more.
