It is time to begin thinking about the new group of children who will be ready for kindergarten in the fall. Children who turn five by September 10, 2025, are eligible. Registration will open at the Townsend Elementary office on February 1, 2025, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. When you come to register, please be sure to bring your child’s birth certificate and immunization records. Be ready to sign up for a time on Thursday, April 10th for your child to participate in the Kindergarten Roundup. At this time, children will be given skills assessment tests, and parents will be provided with those results. Children must go through these assessments in order to be enrolled in a kindergarten class.
Please note, that there will be no kindergarten classes on April 10th since the kindergarten teachers will be assisting with the screening.
