The Cycle of Life!
Many years ago, there was a doctor TV program, at the beginning one of the actors Said; “Man, Woman, Birth, Death, Infinity.” Meaning the “Cycle of Life” this is what we live with, and through.
Our lives are measured in moments! The moment we first draw breath; we begin to die. This is the way of ALL life, human/animal/plants/things that come about naturally or are created or manufactured. We humans “THINK" that we create things that will exist and work forever. You have all heard the phrase “planned obsolescence.” Meaning we create inanimate objects, that are planned to fail! In a Boston firehouse, there is a light that has been turned on since the 1800s. It has been burning steady for over a hundred years, there is a sign by the wall switch: “DO NOT TURN OFF THE LIGHT”! this was before companies learned that whatever they made, it had to fail or their company would be out of business. (IE: not having to make more bulbs.)
Humankind has a shelf life of about 100 years, on average. This number has gone up over the years with better health care, diets etc. but WE are still going to wear out. This is truly the cycle of life, however: (I’m not going to get into religion, much.) think about anyone you know who has passed on to the next adventure, were they quiet, shy, retiring people? OR were they full of life and have strong personalities? Life is energy, ALL people come from the energy at the beginning of life. People, unless they hide under a bridge all their life, LIVE! Truly live people have the energy of living and creating experiences! Their personalities are created by living and working/experiencing life all around them. They build a life with others, and many times create other lives, energy can NOT be lost or destroyed! Only moved from one place to another, we experience this by dying. Religion tells us many things, but they are mostly only there to guide or control us.
GOD, the Creator of the universe (no matter what name you call him) is there to give us life and bring us home when we wear out. (It sounds a lot simpler that it is.) From the energy of the universe are we born, and live. Then when our time comes, we return to the energy we came from. Our emotions, and personalities live on! Although we will miss our loved ones and grieve. We will REMEMBER them and laugh about all the experiences we shared. They never die, life is to be lived to the fullest. Enjoy every minute and BE with friends and relations. “LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE.” Be IN life!
