Following thirteen years of battling cancer Dana Banks Amsk passed away January 21, 2025.
She was born in Billings, Montana September 12, 1959 to Sandra Halvorson Branstetter and Daniel Branstetter. She graduated from Billings Senior High School. She married Boyd Banks in Billings and they moved to Libby, Montana. They had two children, Matthew Banks and Brandy Banks. They divorced years later and Dana and her children moved to Townsend where she met Billy Amsk. They had a son Keanu Daniel Amsk.
She worked at the hospital and then at State Bank. She also worked for the State of Montana. She and her husband Billy ran the Floral Connection for several years.
Survivors include her husband Bill Amsk, her children Matthew and Brandy, her mother Sandy Vanover (Ted) and sister Cindy Beaulieu; nephews Justin Moore, Dylan Beaulieu. She was preceded in death by son Keanu Daniel Amsk, brother Daniel Branstetter, Jr, father Daniel Branstetter, Sr, brother-in-law Kim Moore, grandparents Art and Elsie Halvorson, Aunt Nancy Ballou and Uncle David Halvorson.
