Many County Residents Serve in Elected Offices
MT43 News Staff Reporter
Broadwater County has spawned an unusually large number of people who will dedicate their time to civil service in both county and state offices for their terms in office.
County residents who successfully ran for their respective offices were sworn in last week by the Honorable Judge Kirk Flynn in Townsend and at the official inauguration at the Capitol in Helena. Audrey Plymale began her job as Clerk of Court after twenty years as deputy clerk. Jesse Swenson was sworn in as County Commissioner after running against Darrel Folkvord in November. Keven Thatcher was sworn in after being appointed by the Commissioners as the new County Attorney after Cory Swanson won in his bid to win Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Broadwater High School Superintendent Susie Hedalen ran and won against Elsie Arntzen in November.
