Townsend is So Generous at Christmas
Each year I am impressed with the generosity of this community. Last week, I read in the MT 43 News about the Lions Club helping two families at Christmas.
The Rotary Club of Townsend also helped five additional families this year with the help of an Adopt-a-Family grant from the Town Pump Foundation.
My wife and I were fortunate to be able to help at Christmas Connection on Saturday, December 21, where 53 additional families received food and gifts for Christmas.
Trailhead Church supplies free Christmas Dinners on Christmas Day.
I am certain I have missed many other organizations that helped make Christmas a much better day for many people in our community. Keep up the good work Townsend!
