Rotary Celebrates Holidays with Seniors

Patrick Plantenberg

Rotarian

Rotarians were busy in December 'Decking the Halls' and ‘Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas'…or at least singing about doing those things. The Rotary Club of Townsend performed three different nights for the residents of the Billing Clinic Broadwater, Serenity Point, and Silver Springs living centers. This is the second year that Rotarians joined voices and performed for the senior residence facilities.

Caroling was open to all Rotarians, past and present, as well as spouses and friends. The first performance was on December 17th at Billings Clinic Broadwater, with 10 people joining the chorus. On December 18th, carolers sang at Serenity Point, with 11 people joining voices to entertain the residents.

The final performance was on December 18th at Silver Springs with 14 revelers showing up to enthusiastically wrap up the 2024 tour. This was a fun event for all who sang and those who listened and sang along. Looking forward to selecting new songs and getting ready to do it all again next year.
