Girls’ Basketball:
Mishayla Lambott is a junior and played in four games over the weekend during the Manhattan Christian Tip-Off Tournament. Her weekend started off playing varsity against Shields Valley on Friday. In that game, Mishayla helped the team with two free throws and one rebound. Then, being a team player, Mishayla played some JV against Plenty Coup, helping the team with 15 points, one defensive rebound and two offensive rebounds. She also contributed directions and support to the JV on their way to a win. Next up, saw Mishayla playing in the varsity game against West Yellowstone on Saturday. She helped her team with four points, three offensive rebounds and one defensive rebound. Mishayla showed team spirit and leadership, again helping the JV team against West Yellowstone, with 8 points and six defensive rebounds. Her point contribution included an amazing three-point play, just beating the halftime buzzer to tie it up for the JV. Mishayla continued to show leadership for the second half and cheered on the JV for the quarters she couldn’t play.
Boys Basketball:
Grady Erickson is this week's standout player by having an outstanding game against Sheilds Valley. Grady scored 23 points and was the Bulldogs leading rebounder as well with 12 boards. Grady got the Bulldogs fired up right away in this game by scoring 16 of his 23 points in the First Quarter. He has grown into a well-rounded basketball player, and an even better teammate giving every game his all. Congrats Grady!
