Billings Clinic Broadwater earns 2024 Performance Leadership Award from The Chartis Center for Rural Health

Townsend, MT—Billings Clinic Broadwater is honored to announce that it has earned a 2024 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Quality. Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards recognize top quartile performance (i.e., 75th percentile or above) among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and/or Patient Perspective.

“I am incredibly proud of the work of our entire team,” said Justin Tiffany, Billings Clinic Broadwater CEO. “This recognition is a testament to the commitment of our providers, nurses and staff to provide high-quality care to everyone who comes to Billings Clinic Broadwater.”

The Performance Leadership Awards are based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a comprehensive and objective framework for assessing how rural hospitals are performing. INDEX benchmarks are relied upon by rural hospitals, health systems with rural footprints, hospital associations, and state offices of rural health to measure performance across multiple areas impacting hospital operations and finance. Top performers like Billings Clinic Broadwater are excelling in managing risk, achieving higher quality, securing better outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction and operating at a lower cost than their peers. These groups serve as a benchmark for other rural facilities as they strive to achieve similar results.

“The Performance Leadership Awards capture the commitment, diligence, and innovation with which America’s rural hospitals approach the delivery of care within their communities,” said Troy Brown, Network Consultant, The Chartis Center for Rural Health. “It’s a tremendous honor to be able to recognize the efforts of this year’s award winners and celebrate their achievement as part of National Rural Health Day.”

“Billings Clinic Broadwater’s recognition with the rural health hospital charters award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality care to our community. This achievement reflects the dedication of our staff and the collaborative spirit of our healthcare team, as we continue to prioritize patient well-being and strive for excellence in every aspect of our services,” said Billings Clinic Broadwater CAH Quality Coordinator and Infection Control RN, Emily Clark.
