Kenneth Eugene Biggs was born May 12, 1928, to Okla and Esther Biggs in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family moved to Wathena, Kansas where they farmed until 1943. They then moved to Townsend, Montana where Kenny attended and graduated from Broadwater County High School Townsend, Montana class of 1947.
After graduation he joined the US Marine Corp. Signal Battalion, Third Marine Division serving in Guam and China. After his discharge he moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he worked for Wilson and Company meat packers. After 12 years of learning the meat business, he went into business for himself. He moved to Abilene, Texas where he became involved in cattle feeding and ranching. He owned two meat businesses, one retail and one institutional. He also had a construction company and raised Quarter Horses.
Kenny was very involved in civic organizations in Abilene, Texas. He served on the Board of Directors of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Taylor County Coliseum. He was elected president of the West Texas Fair in 1975. That same year he and other business associates chartered the American National Bank in Abeline.
In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling the world.
He was reunited with Nadine, his high school sweetheart, and the two were married in March of 1993. They enjoyed 34 years together traveling extensively, and settling in Billings, MT in 2001.
Kenny was an active member of Emmanual Baptist Church.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Nadine. Two step-daughters, Sandy (John) Camden of Great Falls, MT and Guyla Craft (Joe McKenna) of Little Rock, AK, Grandson Rhode Biggs of San Angelo, Texas and two daughter-in-laws, Susan Gassiot of San Antonio, TX and Jody Ewing of Gillette, WY along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marion Graham, son, Casey Biggs, Stepson Van Ewing and Grandson Kristopher Biggs.
