High School Drama Club Production A Success
Grady Erickson, BHS Reporter
On Tuesday, November 19th, the stage gym was a high school play “Employees must wash hands before murder”. The story starts with Ashleys (played by Millie Sims) first day at the Burgertorium where all of the other staff are wacky. The day takes a wild turn when it is announced that the health inspector (played by Jazlyn Martin) is having a surprise visit. That’s when the health inspector discovers the manager (played by Haylie Reinke) murdered in the fridge. So, the health inspector started an investigation of all the staff, questioning them one by one. The guilty suspect was the evil Tape Worm (played by Hannah Hall) who had been terrorizing the Burgertorium. The story ends with the Tapeworm getting away with the murder after realizing that it is immune to criminal prosecution.
Overall, the play was very high quality, and I could tell a lot of practice was put into the production. The seasonal plays at Broadwater High School are always high quality and they are worth a watch.
