4-H Members Recognized at Annual Achievement Night

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, the 4-H Building was packed as Broadwater County 4-H celebrated its annual 4-H Achievement Night, recognizing 4-H members, volunteers and community members for their achievements and contributions from the past 4-H year.
One of the highlights of the event is recognizing senior-level 4-H members who have gone above and beyond to learn and excel in 4-H. The Achievement Award is given to a 4-H member who has become a skilled, productive and self-directed leader by attaining a broad knowledge of 4-H projects and activities. This year’s recipient was Grace Kroeger.
The recipient of the Leadership Award was Kayla McDonald. This award is given to members who have learned to identify and understand roles, attitudes and tasks necessary for effective lifelong leadership.
The Citizenship Award is given to members who have practiced leadership skills and roles to participate in community affairs and show social responsibility by respecting and responding to the needs of others. The award went to Kaitlyn Noyes.
Spencer Braaten and Cinch Reynolds were the recipients of the Agriculture Award, which is given to members who have demonstrated leadership qualities in agricultural project areas and challenged themselves to continue learning about their project while participating in other facets of the program.
The I Challenge You Award is given to emerging leaders who have the qualities and abilities to lead and to challenge them to achieve their highest potential to influence others through lives of leadership and service. This award went to Emma Delgado, Cheyanne Douglas, Joseph Kroeger and Addy Mosher.
The Friend of 4-H Award goes to a community member, organization or business who has provided a unique contribution to the 4-H program. This year the award went to Julianne Hill for her commitment and support of the 4-H program as the Secretary and Treasurer of the 4-H Livestock Committee for over ten years. The 4-H Spirit Award was given to Brandon and Danyel Henke who are 4-H leaders to give countless hours to support the program.
Receiving the Club Historian Award was Cheyanne Douglas of the Raderburg Rattlers 4-H Club and Lexi Davies and Grace McLaughlin of the Winston Eager Beavers 4-H Club. The following members were recognized for outstanding 4-H stories: Grace Kroeger, Cheyanne Douglas and Grace McLaughlin.
