We competed at the District level Sweetgrass Showdown Competition in Big Timber, MT on December 5th. Our chapter competed in various Career Development Events. Our students participated in Floriculture, Livestock Evaluation, Meat Evaluation and Technology, and Veterinary Science. The top eight teams in the district qualify to attend the State FFA Convention in March in Great Falls. The Meat Evaluation team of Grace Kroeger, Spencer Braaten, Ross McDonald, Aiden Kitto, and Kayla Kraft placed 5th. The Vet Science team consisted of Amanda Pesicka, Kaitlyn Noyes, Grace Kroeger, and Kayla Kraft and placed 7th. The Floriculture team of Nevada Willis, Cassidy Flynn, and Codie Skillman placed 7th as well. We are excited to have qualified for 3 state Career Development Events.
