When Things Go Right!

It doesn’t happen all the time, but every now and then the whole day seems to flow well. At least there are no outrages or disasters; even the minor problems seem to take the day off. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Like I said it isn’t often but Today (Sunday) I realized it was pretty much of a nice MELLOW week.

In between rain/wind (or whatever Montana’s weather sent our way) I got my regular weekly chores done earlier than usual. I won a football board; I used the lawn mower to vacuum up all the leaves! Thank God for a riding lawn mower with a 2 bagger on the back. I never thought those bags would fill up so FAST! Geez, I barely made one pass around the lawn and I was in a windstorm of leaves flying all over me. (this happens when the bags fill up and I keep going, OOPS!)

I am big into lawn maintenance lately, it seems….I HATE raking up leaves, I will use a leaf blower, or mower anytime first. IF I could figure out how to put leaf bags all around under the trees it would be a lot simpler. The garbage was lower than usual so I got that out earlier, and Buffalo Bills won their game in Seattle! (Sorry Seahawks fans…No, I’m not.) all the small chores that seem to pile up every week, just took a day off NICE!

I’d like to say I had time to read and relax, but Life isn’t THAT forgiving. It’s amazing how many times we all end up at Bob’s together, I see so many local folks there every day. This is actually nice, but what are we ALL doing at the grocery store every day? I know we just don’t feel like working too much, so we “All of a sudden” need something that we don’t see right in front of us for 5 minutes. Sorry Honey, I can’t find this “widget” so I’ll go to the store for one. After passing the same person 5 times on the road, I still wave but not as quickly. They get the Montana “repetitive” wave, lift your hand and look away.

So now we have the start of another week, JOY. Be well oh my people, watch out for all the little urchins looking for candy, this weekend. (Keep your eggs for breakfast!) Happy Ghost Stroll, Halloween.

REMEMBER TO VOTE on November 5th!
