"If Dock McCormick, John McCormick, Cy Wells, Mayor Faltermeyer or somebody else who will assume the responsibility would have the piles of dirt with the juice in it removed from the crosswalks in town it would help someone from getting from one side of the street to the other without having to wade a sea of mud. Anyone fortunate enough to own a pair of rubbers in the past few days would lose them before reaching the middle of the street. Of course, this was election week and the election of Woodrow Wilson may be the cause of this downfall of moisture, but as the election is over and we have no use for mud, why not remove it?
