Circle 100 Club: Making a Difference in Our Community

Did you see the good news about the bus with a wheelchair lift that we helped purchase for residents of our Long-Term Care facility at Billings Clinic Broadwater? The previous bus was no longer dependable or accommodating. We are fortunate to have doctors within our facility but there are times when residents need to get to appointments out of town. The bus is also used for short outings and on special occasions such as taking the Rotary tour of the beautiful Christmas lights around town.

You may remember that The Circle 100 Club was formed 12 years ago for the sole purpose of giving support to our local medical facility. Our rural hospital and long-term care facility went through some rough financial times. But through the hard work of dedicated people, like you, our facility was saved and is a shining example of a robust and beautiful medical facility and home for those who can no longer live on their own.

The Billings Clinic Broadwater is a thriving Critical Access Hospital. It is currently updating the H-VAC as well as the Nurse Call System for the entire building. The Long-Term Care wing of the clinic reaps the benefits of all these investments.

Over the years you/we have purchased many items that meet pressing needs. Among those items are a washing machine, bath lift, roll-on scale, automatic handicap doors, lab equipment, ventilator, bladder scanner, blood warmer, kitchen equipment and a BUS. Our mission is the same today – to make a difference in the lives of those needing care and assistance.

We want to share this message with as many people as possible. There are many new residents of Broadwater County who would help if they knew the need. Long-term care facilities like ours are closing in small towns everywhere. It is up to us to keep ours open!

A tax-deductible contribution of $100 comes with no other obligations. You can send your check made payable to: The Circle 100 Club, Box 1215, Townsend, MT 59644.

To celebrate our good work and to plan, we are happy to invite you to join us on Friday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinic Dining Room for refreshments. This was a lovely tradition before Covid happened. We look forward to gathering with you once again. If you can join us, Please RSVP via text or phone message us by Friday, September 13.
