Townsend Booster Club wants to thank all of the head coaches for their participation in the Player of the Week recognition. They take the time to choose and share their athletes’ successes with us each week. Their time and energy is greatly appreciated not only with the Player of the Week but all that they do for their programs and our student-athletes! Good luck with the rest of the season coaches!
We would also like to take a moment to thank Townsend Tire for being a 2024-2025 Banner Booster member and supporting our Bulldogs!
That being said, here are the players of the week!
Volleyball: Aspen Slyker helped lead her team to a 3rd place finish at the opening Choteau Tournament. She had 62 digs, 11 aces, 36 kills, 2 blocks and 2 assists.
Cross Country: Nolan Flynn got second at the Jefferson opener by tenths of a second and Kyla Missner won the Jefferson opener.
Football: Broadwater football player of the week vs Cut Bank is #10 Deegan Mattson. The senior captain hauled in 5 receptions including 1 for a touchdown. Defensively he tallied 4 total tackles with a recorded sack, pass breakup, and an interception. Deegan has been working hard this fall camp and it has transitioned into his game play. Great job #10
Cheer: Captain Kaycee White is this week's player of the week. Kaycee came into her senior season with a very team-focused attitude and has centered her goals around the development of the team. Kaycee's best leadership trait is her work ethic and "get down to business" attitude, which helps her teammates when they're learning new skills. Great job, Kaycee!
