Bucy Family
On the morning of August 3rd, the good Lord took Vickie Lynne Bucy into his loving arms to rejoin her father William “Bill” Jepson, her mother Bonnie Jepson of Oklahoma, and sister Stacy Jeson of Bozeman in heaven.
She passed away at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital of natural causes at the age of 67. Her battle with cancer finally won even though she was a strong woman who fought with everything that she had. Though she did not want to leave, she is no longer in pain and is finally at peace.
Vickie was born in Washington to William “Bill” and Bonnie Jepson on July 29, 1957. She married her beloved husband William “Bill” Bucy of Townsend on Feb 26, 1999. She was a wonderful woman who made people feel good no matter how she was doing, but look out if you stepped over the line because she could light like a stick of dynamite and put you in your place. She retired as one of the head lunch ladies at the Townsend school and loved being part of the lives of the children of the community and watching them grow. Her husband and she are well known and loved in the community.
She is survived by her loving husband William “Bill” Bucy, daughters Kara Jepson & Jody Giles, step-daughter Shannon Bucy, and step-sons Shane and Shawn Bucy. Her surviving grandchildren are Conor Milliron, William “Willy” Jepson, Kendra & Cole Thomson, Rowen Dozier, Shaylynne, Skyler and Abby Smith. Vickie will forever be loved and never forgotten.
We will have a celebration of the life of Vickie on September 21st at the Fishtale Tavern in Townsend at 3 PM.
