The Townsend Adult Softball League ended its season last night with a close game between the Barracudas (Sponsored by the Bunkhouse Bar) and the Badgers (Sponsored by Badger Materials).
The Barracudas took home the trophy with a final score of 8-7.
This year, the Coed Rec. league featured five teams: The Warriors, Swingers, Trailhead, Badgers, and Barracudas, all graciously umpired by Martin Mingay.
The league is in its 4th year, bringing summer fun and friendly competition back to Connor's Field. The league would like to extend a warm welcome to locals who are considering joining or forming a team, all experience levels are welcome (must be 18 years or older). The season typically runs from June to August and games are weekly on Thursday nights.
