What seemed like a much larger rodeo parade this year, was not. Parade coordinator Kathy Toombs pointed out she had 32 registered entries of floats, riders and vehicles this year. Last year she registered 33 entries. Kathy said not everyone who is in the parade registers, so the count is not always accurate. Participants only register if they want to win a prize.
Prize winners are as follows: In the antique autos, and tractors category: first place, Jerry Rodacker; second place Glen Van Zee, third place Rich Vetsch. Individuals on foot: first place Kelsi Anderson, second place Audrey Plymale and third place Roy Hankins.
The organization category saw first place Old Baldy 4-H Club, second place Radersburg Rattlers 4-H Club and third place POW-MIA entry. In the commercial category were first place Bird’s Nest; second place Broadwater Community Theater; third place Madison River Propane. The Bozeman Saddle-ites were the winners in the Drill Team category and Bird Kids were winners in the Cowboy Riders category.
