Rotary Recognizes Bob Chamberlin

The Bob Chamberlin family-owned Bob’s Supermarket from 1976 until 2020 and gave so much to the community over the years. In 2020, the Rotary Club of Townsend tried to recognize Bob’s Supermarket for those many community contributions, but Bob would never commit to coming to a meeting.
Everyone who knows Bob knows he does not like any attention for those contributions. Well finally, on Saturday, July 27 at Bob’s 80th birthday party celebration, Rotary finally was able to corner Bob and present him with the 2020 recognition plaque that they had kept for the past four years.
Thank you so much, Bob, for all you and your family did for the community over those many years.
And remember, Rotary never forgets!
