Eighth Annual Broadwater County-wide Yard Sale

Saturday, July 20 saw the Townsend streets full of cars, trucks, side-by-sides and ATVs – all visiting the many yard sales in town and around the county. The Eighth Annual Broadwater County-Wide Yard Sale featured over 60 yard sales stretching from Toston to the north of Winston.
Missouri Valley Marketing (a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Broadwater County, local businesses and local events) has sponsored the event every year since 2017. The first year there were over 40 yard sales featured. The event has grown with this year going over 60 yard sales including several neighbors that combined into 1 sale.
The event is advertised in newspapers and on social media across many counties and brings visitors to Broadwater County from all over Montana. We have talked to people from as far away as Billings, Red Lodge, Ennis, Butte, Anaconda and Deer Lodge.
Even through terrible rain storms and through Covid, the County-Wide yard sale has proven to be a success.
MVM would like to thank all of those who participated this year – those who held yard sales and all of those who turned out to shop at the yard sales.
