The criminal docket for Judge Michael McMahon’s district court for Friday, July 12, was as follows:
Bert Lee Ginsburg had an omnibus hearing on one count of felony vehicle theft and two counts of tampering with or fabricating evidence. A suppression hearing will be held on Aug. 9. He was released on condition that he report to pre-trial services by July 14 and sign up for chemical dependency treatment by July 26. He is to have no contact with the victim and will be subject to random urine analysis tests twice weekly.
John Xavier Hanson’s evidentiary hearing was continued to Sept. 13.
An arrest warrant for Lonnie Joseph Pruitt for failure to appear at his status hearing. He’s charged with felony burglary, criminal mischief, felony theft of property and tampering with evidence.
John Richard Bourn’s omnibus will be completed in one week. He is charged with felony driving under the influence - fourth or greater offense.
Ashley Lyn Cooper made an initial appearance on charges of felony aggravated interference with parent-child contact and misdemeanor interference with parent-child contact. She pleaded not guilty. An omnibus hearing was set for Aug. 23. A pre-trial hearing was set of Dec. 6, with a trial date of Jan. 6, 2025, scheduled for the case.
An arrest warrant was issued for Bobby Ray Jones on one count of felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs after he failed to make his initial appearance.
