On July 12 the Canton Church held another great event featuring Duane Simonich and Kyle Altman playing acoustic guitars.

That Friday was a beautiful looking day – but brutally hot. Around 35 people came out in the heat to enjoy the mix of worship and country music played by Duane and Kyle.

Duane Simonich is a Townsend resident and has been very active in the Townsend community with his wife Lauren. They have been preforming at the Fall Fest worship service for the last few years as a Husband and Wife Acoustic Duo.

Duane is on the worship team at Helena First in Helena MT and Kyle is on the worship team at Mountain Valley Church in Townsend MT.

During their warmup prior to the performance, Kyle commented on the terrific acoustics in the Canton Church. All of the musicians performing at the Canton Church love the acoustics.

Due to the heat, Duane and Kyle played a short set of about 25-30 minutes. Everyone in attendance enjoyed – especially their version of “Grandpa (Tell me ‘bout the good old days)".
