American Legion Post 42 held the annual retirement of American flags on Friday, June 14 at Memorial Park with the assistance of Boy Scout Troop 231.
Present from the Troop were Scout leaders Jason Lance, Mike Cysewski and Scout Alexander Hoeger.
Also present was Debbie Westfall, President of Unit Axillary, Tim Poole, Sons of American Legion Squad and Legion Post 42 members Larry Westfall, Roland Heaton, Mark Boaz and Sharon Doig, Post Historian. The ashes are eventually taken to Fort Harrison.
There is a container at American Legion Post 42 to put your old flags in for next year.
