We are so excited to be celebrating our ‘Cowboy Boots and Country Roots’ with the 2024 Broadwater County Fair and Rodeo, July 31-August 4th! Now is the time to start thinking about and working on your Open Class entries for this year.
Have a hobby that you love doing and are super great at? We would love for you to enter that item into the open class at the Broadwater County Fair! From growing those beautiful flowers and veggies to crafting with your Cricut to capturing those breathtaking sunset photos with your phone, all of which you can enter and have a chance to win bragging rights and a few bucks to spend on sweet treats. Calling all artists to saddle up for the Broadwater County Fair. Round up your creations in art mediums including fine arts and home crafts. Have you made a painting, jewelry, or ceramic piece in a local class? We have a special class for these items made during local classes! If you are a Quilter, you can enter many different types of Quilting. Whether it be quilting by hand or machine, table runners, blankets or lap blankets and it can be by theme or by original design. The list goes on! You can also enter Crocheting, Embroidery, Pillows, Sewing Projects,
Rugs, Hand Knitting, as well as Dolls and Toys.
The Open Class Departments are: Home Arts, Photography & Literature, Fine Arts Painting & Artwork, Home Crafts, Culinary Arts, Horticulture, Agronomy and Livestock. And each of these departments has many different classes to enter your projects! The opportunities are endless! Fair entry deadline is July 9th, so don’t wait!
