Here are our Players of the Week for May 13:

Boys Track: Tavyn Anderson performed well at Districts and will be moving onto Divisionals in 3 individual events; 110m hurdles with a time of 18.67, 300m hurdles with a time of 48.23, and triple jump of 37'1.75".

Colt Barnard ran well this weekend earning his way to Divisionals in the 100m with a time of 12.36. He also ran a leg of the 4x100m relay with a time of 45.86 earning their way to Divisionals. He also ran a leg in the 4x400m relay which is also moving onto Divisionals.

Girls Track: Luci Horne performed well during our district meet. She will also move on to Divisionals in long jump, javelin, and 4x400m relay. She earned a season-best in long jump with a 14'6"; threw the javelin 93" and helped her 4x400m relay team run a time of 4:34.35.

Kaitlyn Noyes had already state-qualified for all her events early in the season. However, she performed well in Districts this weekend. Placing 1st in 4 of the 5 of her individual events: long jump 16'8.5", triple jump 33'9.5", 100m 13.39, and 200m 27.29. She also placed 2nd in the high jump jumping 4'8".

Tennis: The dynamic duo of Emily Bird and Liz Collins led Townsend to an undefeated dual record on Friday without dropping a single match. Then they rolled off three straight wins on Saturday winning the doubles bracket in the Best of the West tournament defeating one of the favorites to win state. These two are hoping to cap their high school careers with a state title.

Girls Golf and Boys Golf: Both teams played well during the divisional meet even with extremely difficult conditions.
